December 13th, 2009Hair, Paul Mitchell, StyleWhen I think about writing on my blog, I can never decide what it is that I should write about. There’s always so much that I want to say, and I think to myself, “who the hell wants to hear about that?” But then I thought, “who cares.” It’s my blog, and I’ll write about what I want. And hopefully you (whoever you are) will appreciate some of it
As some of you may know, I go to Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta. And let me tell you, the journey I’ve been on to get here has been quite a crazy (and long) one. It’s taken me a year being at school to truly appreciate what I do every day. When I started school, it was on a whim. I wasn’t sure if it was really what I wanted to do. I was at school for 6 months before I ended up having to take a leave of absence, for medical reasons. And Thank God I did. Because I came back to school with more motivation and more passion than I’ve had in a long time (not since working on Bluebird). And I cant even express how much I love doing what I’m doing. My learning leaders at Paul Mitchell inspire me every day. And I’m lucky enough to watch and learn from Scott Cole (google him) once a month. I’ve gotten to do some pretty incredible things through this school, and i’ve learned a lot, not just about hair, but about myself, and others. I’ve met some of the most amazing people at that school, and am continually impressed and inspired by them daily. I never want to loose what i’m learning. I know it sounds so corny and cliche when people say things like this, but i’m truly blessed to be able to have this much fun in my career, and i’m so very excited for the places it will take me to.
here’s a few pictures of my journey at Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta.Halloween Parade
